Pastor Leroy and Gwen Herder
Pastor LeRoy and Gwen Herder began their ministry at First Christian Church in Phillipsburg in April, 2008. Throughout their years in ministry, they have served in a variety of situations which have included: teaching in a Bible College, serving on the Mission Field in South Africa, holding revivals and seminars, serving on short-term missions and primarily ministering with local churches. They praise God and give him all the glory for using them to be able to minister to, instruct, teach, counsel and encourage people in their walk with the Lord. Pastor LeRoy preaches the Word of God with power and boldness and he relies upon the Spirit of God to make his message meaningful to God’s people.
Gwen Herder is not part of the paid staff but she works with LeRoy as a team in all areas of the Lord’s work. She has taught the Ladies Community Bible Study here in Phillipsburg for 6 years. Throughout the years, she has taught all ages, from 9 months to 90 years. She is thankful for the opportunity to teach the living Word of God.
Pastor LeRoy and Gwen have three adult children and nine grandchildren.
